"ChatGPT: turn off the noise."
I let go of my autonomy when I started outsourcing all of my wisdom to business experts and AI to tell me how to be successful, how to human the right way, to coerce people into my world through a magnetic brand story.
The times I've felt the most successful was when I trusted myself, when I leaned into my instincts and shut out the noise, and it has me wanting to take a torch and burn everything to the ground.
These days I second guess EVERYTHING in my expression. "I can't share that. It'll make me look weak, and aren't I supposed to teach women how to be powerful?"
Silly right? As a self-proclaimed leader in self-expression, there's some conflict here.
My soul is screaming for authenticity in what I share, but these days I have ChatGPT censoring my content, policing me on what people need to hear, to manipulate people into buying my wisdom or hack my words for virality.
If I tell you what I'm actually going through, it appears unprofessional, right? An ick. Or maybe cringy.
But here's the ugly truth: my nervous system hasn't felt safe in business since 2020 when I, like everyone else in the midst of a pandemic, started focusing on manifestation and the result of the promised dream-life of $10K months or 7-figure years or the millionaire lifestyle or simply, a remote income. Even the promise of the soul-aligned feminine business doesn't sit right when I place it as the goal and forefront of everything I do. Anything future-focused has me wanting to hide in the closet.
But ChatGPT will continue to try to get me to turn any thoughts or questions I offer it into scroll-stopping hooks, even when I'm asking it to help talk me off a ledge.
I just want to trust my instincts again
And talk about how toddler tantrums are exhausting. Or that my body feels foreign with this pregnancy and I miss the fit version of myself (yes, a body positive boudoir photographer is allowed to admit that!). That camping with my little family and living like high-class hobos for a few days and tuning out the world feels like a slice of paradise. That sometimes self-care isn't a perfect cure. Or that even I, as a demi-version of a coach (a mentor? is that what I think I am?) struggle with self-doubt and brain-chatter that eats me alive some days. AND THE PLANETS!!! Can we just talk about the "hippie-dippie" rituals, human design/astrology that I'M OBSESSED WITH?? Because this is all where my mind best thrives, not in becoming your hero or guru.
But visibility and virality are THE way. Masterclasses are the way. Signature programs are the way. Recurring revenue with low-touch-points are. the. only. way. to. feminine financial freedom. It's in every other goddamn Instagram reel it seems. Raw truths are vulnerable, messy, complicated, unmarketable. Or so I've told myself.
And here's the part where I sell to you, because that's what every blog post does, right?
I want to rebel against the business systems that appear to be working for these soft-energy women, while at the same time I, like every other stay-at-home-mom, crave a lifestyle of ease, abundance, and freedom.
So there's a part of me that echos, "the masterclass IS the way." Because, I desire human connection, a space to be vulnerable, open, and honest, and have a discussion on what it's like to burn down the beliefs that are holding us back from our true joy and full expression. No more censoring.
But I am personally burning down the way everyone else teaches a masterclass, the way ChatGPT thinks I need to outline it to make you want to buy in, and speak from the heart. Very little structure, probably a lot of chaos and a sprinkle of transformation, because every time women gather with the desire to come as she is, her soul is set free.
Burning down my way of being isn't something new. I've had to reemerge from the ashes of a broken soul so many times that you could say I'm a professional phoenix.
- When I had postpartum depression with my second daughter.
- When I discovered the religion I was raised in was not my truth.
- When I failed myself by giving into the inner-critic and fell into shitty self-worth too many times.
This time, the burning feels sacred and intentional. Like a holy honoring of the darkness, recognizing it for what it is, giving space and oxygen for the fire to breathe and burn, then creating purpose with each step out of the cinders.
Join me for Sacred Flame. What do we want to call it... a ceremony? a digital women's circle? a "fuck you" to mainstream society? To keep it easy, we'll call it an INITIATION, because it's a beginning of who we're all becoming on the other side of every damn thing that's keeping us small. And yeah, I'll probably sell to you at some point, because deep down I still have faith in my instincts. And my EMBLDN membership is still a smoldering ember, calling in the women ready to kickstart a movement of authentic self-expression with me.
