What is a self-love portrait session?
A self-love portrait session with me is a therapeutic experience in which you get to finally choose YOU, an opportunity to stop listening to outside voices and opinions and express your authentic inner-voice. An opportunity to explore and give a visual voice to the hopes and desires deep in your soul.
This editorial studio and outdoor self-love session began first with hair and makeup at Bright Life Beauty Bar with the ever so talented Brittany. As I sorted through Maile's clothing options to nail down the best wardrobe for photos and Brittany worked her magic, Brittany and I both got to listen to Maile's story and be in awe.

She has faced a lot of challenges that have clearly made her the incredible woman she is. She sure as hell deserved to win my recent self-love giveaway in collaboration with the Art City Studio, Bright Life Beauty Bar, Shaped by Ariana, and A. Swapp Studio and it was an honor to have her in front of my camera and photograph her in her authentic expression.
After hair and makeup was complete and she looked like a glammed up GODDESS, we headed off to the Art City Studio where the natural window light in combination with the backdrops was so dreamy.
